Seeing as others see, I am blind,
I search, but never can I find.
Hearing as others hear, I am deaf,
I listen only to my chattering mind.
Speaking as others speak, I am mute,
I talk, but all my words are unrefined.
Going where others go, I am lost,
Upon the winds of fate I am resigned.
So, then I left and left all else behind,
Myself, my friends and every single kind,
And in that state of loss, I came around,
In every silent breath, still and profound,
I must have trod some very sacred ground,
It brought me back to me and all was found.
